Leuven (Louvain, in French) is the capital of the province of Flemish Brabant in the Flemish Region, Belgium. The city is located about 25 kilometres east of Brussels. It is home to , the world's largest brewer group and to the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, the largest and oldest university of the Low Countries and the oldest Catholic university still in existence.

Leuven has a populaiton of approximately 100000. However, due to a high student population, Leuven seems like a bigger city than only it's population will make you assume.
