@DavidRicherby, I find it a bit ironic that you complain that I should prove my innocence instead of you proving my guilt; being a moderator none other than at Law specifically, I can assure you that it's not how it works. At trials, there are no "innocent" verdicts — it's either guilty, or not guilty, at least by preponderance of evidence. Also, SE has network-wide notification; if someone tries contacting the moderators on any sub, we see it on any site in the network; and I visit SO daily, so, I see all these notifications right away, and there haven't been any for Law recently.
The moderator's job is meant to ensure things are running smoothly. Too much interaction is often an indication that the mods are abusing their powers. The activity tab certainly doesn't list all the events.
