@Flimzy - a laptop is a lot more expensive to replace than a battery or mouse, and while I do backup the data I care about, I work remotely on my laptop and do not relish the thought of having to reinstall all the programs and connections necessary. (It was a headache the first time around, plus took hours if not days.)
