How does seat allocation happen in such a situation - Is it based on booking station or boarding station?

When i was booking ticket from SBC it was in waiting list so i have booked from kengeri so I have booked RAC ticket from Kengeri to Hospet. I have changed boarding point SBC.How dose seat allotment happens based on boarding point or booking station.
