I am a South African retuning to live the country after having lived in the UK for the past 15 years. I returned on a UK passport (on a 90 day Tourist Visa) hoping to re-apply for my South African passport whilst here. I have found that I have run out of time to complete this process before my 90 day Tourist Visa expires. Can I simply take a couple of days vacation in a neighbouring country and re-enter? What is the likelihood of getting a further 90 day visa?
