I have lived in Italy for years and encountered aperitivi from the north down to Rome that were decent buffets (and not talking about the south because I haven't ventured there as much). I am also not lying about 4€ that I saw just yesterday with a non-alc drink, usually I pay 5-6€ and get the buffet style. However you do have a point that sometimes you do not get a buffet but a plate of snacks. | |
