If the hotel wrote back with a confirmation with a price and terms and conditions and you replied immediately by saying "actually no I don't accept that," you'd have a reasonable argument that you never entered into an agreement. But once you have your reservation sitting on their books taking up a room someone else could use, you likely need to abide by the conditions you agreed to when you made the booking. | |
