clarification
Mar 30, 2012 at 14:42 comment added Ankur Banerjee I'm assuming you're open to where in Asia you want to go. In that case, mention what US airport it will be most convenient for you to begin your journey, that will help narrow it further. Also not that if you're going to East Asia, then transpacific might be a cheaper / shorter route for you!
Mar 30, 2012 at 14:32 comment added RoflcoptrException East US to Europe and Asia is still very broad
Mar 30, 2012 at 14:28 comment added rs79 duly noted and edited. hopefully it'll be clearer..we're flexible on our travel destination. i'm really trying to get a good feel for the airline's offerings, and that, in effect, could possibly dictate our travel plans..

Mar 30, 2012 at 14:23 comment added Ankur Banerjee Mention what sectors you're flying - this will help people narrow down choices. A flight from Brazil to South Africa is technically 'transatlantic' too. Furthermore, while MANY airlines have transatlantic flights, not ALL of them fly from ALL airports in the US to elsewhere - this is a factor too. Here at Travel.SE, we're trying to solve YOUR practical problem, not trying to create a general reference article like Wikitravel.
Mar 30, 2012 at 14:22 comment added Karlson Accommodating, in terms of infant engagement during the flight you might want to rephrase or clarify this since almost all if not all flights to Europe from the Americas are overnight flights.
Mar 30, 2012 at 13:50 comment added rs79 a list would probably restrict our options. the sector we're flying is almost serviced by all national carriers
Mar 30, 2012 at 13:23 comment added mindcorrosive I think you should include an exhaustive list of airlines you' are considering, otherwise this question seems too broad.
