Lonely Planet, and a few posts on various sites, state southern Amazon is better for wildlife. I also found quite a few good looking jungle lodges (like this one: booking.com/hotel/pe/posada-amazonas-lodge.en-gb.html) that are reachable from P. Maldonado... so it seems like a good fit, at least on paper... | |
