Also, while your phone is roaming it will also drain the battery quicker (as it will constantly switch carriers, especially if you are moving about). I would recommend getting a local SIM with data, and then turning on the portable hotspot feature of your device. Then turn on airplane mode and enabling only WiFi on your iPhone(s) with the US SIM. | |
