When I studied microeconomics, these techniques were never considered, but then again, eCommerce was still in its infancy and eBay and Amazon were only 4 and 5 years old.

Jul 6, 2022 at 15:11 comment added xngtng IIRC the Chinese regulations were made from a data protection angle so discriminations based on factors other than associated personal data would still be ok. Would GDPR require explicit consent to use behavioural data for pricing in EU?
