| Aug 23, 2019 at 7:47 | comment | added | jcaron | Note that I rejected the edit to use the Compass app instead of Apple Maps for two reasons: there is already an answer suggesting to use the Compass app, and using the maps app helps making sure the location has been refined as much as possible, while the Compass app does not give that feedback. Also, sharing the location requires additional steps as tapping on the location only... opens Apple Maps and you then have to take the steps described above to share it. | |

Compass app gives the information directly to the user, making the instructions far simpler. It's also default on iOS
