In fact there's another developing situation in The Netherlands with Schiphol airport having fuel shortages that led to many flights cancelled a few weeks ago, but I am not aware if the airlines reimbursed the customers. | |

In the OP's case, the closure comes from a third party (the airport) and the civil unrest was largely unrelated to the airport's business. | |
