Reggio nell'Emilia or often "Reggio Emilia", a city in northern Italy, in the Emilia-Romagna region.

Reggio Emilia is a city in northern Italy, in the Emilia-Romagna region. It has about 170,000 inhabitants and is the main comune (municipality) of the Province of Reggio Emilia.

The city is known for its churches, its palaces, its neoclassical theatre, and its main square Piazza Prampolini. The province of Reggio Emilia is the birthplace of typical, world-famous foods such as Parmiggiano Reggiano and Aceto Balsamico.
