There are several options to travel from the aiport to city center. A few notes about terminal 2 Terminal 2 is departures only. Although you arrive officially at terminal 2 (the airplane actually stops near terminal 2) you will be transported directly to terminal 1 where the arrivals hall and the checked in luggage belts are. From there you can either get ...

The metro network in Lisbon is very well developed and covers most, if not all, of the city. Indeed Lisbon airport has its own metro station. This means you can reach the city centre, say Baixa-Chiado, from the airport by changing at Alameda. Below is a screenshot of the metro journey planner for this route: For more information on the metro system here is ...

You should expect something between 9 - 15€, more than that is suspicious/wrong. I am from Lisbon and live in Sweden now. When Traveling home I take the taxi from the Airport out to Oeiras (on the suburbs and also a extra taxed ride since it's outside Lisbon Municipality). It costs me between 25-30€. The Lisbon airport site you named is not the official ...

Cheapest is probably hitch hiking, but I am excluding that as an option. At least for the answer. Train: The fastest is probably the train. The fastest connection takes 3h40 min. It goes from Mexilhoeira Grande to Tunes. There you change and it goes directly to Lisbon, to Oriente. Oriente station is the closest train station to the airport. From there you ...

The local Carris bus company runs a bus transport service connecting Lisbon's airport to the city centre passing by the main transport hubs such as Comercio Square and Cais de Sodré. The 10€ figure meshes with my memory as well as Wikivoyage. It should be a little less during daytime, perhaps a little more with a luggage or night-time surcharge. Wikivoyage also mentions a 18€ voucher which should be higher than the real rate. Taxis are legally required to have fares posted and to have a working meter. If in doubt, ask the driver for a ...

Metro is best - really simple, cheap (compared to places like London or New York), and quick. Just follow the 'M' logos to get to the airport Metro station. You need to take the pink line and change at S. Sebastiao, switching to the light blue line and getting off at Baixa-Chiado (the absolute centre of Lisbon). Good luck - It's a lovely city!

As these are all intra-Schengen flights, there won’t be any passport control operations. Depending on the specifics, you may have to go through security. If you book the two legs on a single ticket, then this means the airline thinks there is enough time to make the connection, and they should take care of you if a delay in the first leg makes you miss the ...

Alternative : take an Uber. They pick up in the arrivals area. Price is about the same (10-15 Euro depending on where you go and traffic) but there is zero risk of fraud and it is much easier to pay (for someone with limited language and Euro experience).

be careful when arriving in Lisbon. Take Care of your belongs. Very often when people distract a bit to buy a bottle of water or a coffee they have their belongs stolen at the airport. Be careful with taxi drivers specially with the oficial taxis you get at the airport. They will do their best to cheat you. For instance today a friend got a táxi at the ...
