I think the information being shown on Google is correct (although could be clearer) And you are correct that Hillingdon is a tube station. So what is happening? Currently (23rd, 24th, 30th December) engineering works are taking place which means GWR are unable to operate trains from Slough to Paddington. Rail replacement buses are operating between Slough ...

The train stations included are some of those train stations that are integrated with air travel as part of an air-rail alliance for single ticketing. For example, I can search for travel from 30th Street Station in Philadelphia to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, resulting in this rail/air/rail itinerary on Amtrak, Lufthansa (with a United-issued ticket), and ...

To be included in Google Maps for trip planning, Google must be able to import its schedule data, for example through a GTFS Static or GTFS Realtime feed. A Google Transit Partner relationship might also be required, however, so simply appearing on TransitFeeds or the like is probably not a reliable guide, or at least less reliable than simply plugging your ...

There are no National Rail trains at this station. However, due to rail engineering work over the festive period, the main line is closed, so they are running replacement buses to a convenient location (Hillingdon tube station) so people can pick up the underground for a quicker onwards journey. This effectively means Hillingdon is temporarily being used by ...

ITA Matrix uses cached results, which often are slightly more out-of-date, while Google Flights actually checks with the airlines and online travel agencies (OTAs) once you get to the final page with the full itinerary and the links to book. When I try to search the same itinerary using ITA Matrix now, it only gives me a $826 price. Similarly, ...

Whilst Zach's answer is mostly factual regarding train stations with airport codes, this does NOT appear to be the situation here (eg, Frankfurt HBH does not have such a code). Instead it appears that, despite the name, Google Flights now supports things other than flights - such as train tickets. For example, if you search for trips from Frankfurt ...

It's because Google has decided to incorporate train trips into Google Flights for easier time & cost comparison between flying & riding a train in Europe. Google Travel's blog announced this feature on October 2015: Google adds trains to Google Flights in Europe Every year, billions of people travel across Europe for personal and professional ...

It is mostly correct to say that the time zone of Ulaanbaatar is UTC+8. However, saying that is a shortcut, because a timezone is a geographical place with a certain rules regarding time, and UTC+8 is a time offset. A lot of timezones also observe daylight saving time (DST) in the summer, which adds another offset in the same timezone. Let's use another ...

Have you thought about reading Wikipedia ? ITA is also one of the highest-profile companies to base their software on Common Lisp Once you know the magic word "lisp" and you know "qpx", the world (or rather Google) is your oyster. Here's a couple things I found for you: Another source claims ITA Software, one of the largest employers ...

Difficult to be sure but IMHO 4 stars seems unlikely to be accurate if comparing worldwide. There appears to be no universal standard for hotel ratings https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotel_rating The higher star ratings typically indicate greater luxury, a wider range of facilities, and good/excellent overall guest services. On Booking.com for countries where ...

From 1983 to 1992, Lufthansa operated "zero level flights" from Frankfurt to Düsseldorf, Cologne, and later Stuttgart. These were express trains that were significantly cheaper to operate and at the same time faster than airplanes (faster because on the short distance the planes never reached full travel height and speed, so they were not that fast, and the ...

It's definitely not possible right now -- the closest you can get is setting a ton of alerts covering the range of dates you want. As far as I know, no travel site allows setting super-flexible alerts right now since it requires making a lot of queries every day (which can get pretty expensive, especially if you're using a GDS (Apollo/Sabre) as your data ...

as Google Flights states in their Help then When searching for flights on Google, you'll usually have the option to book with an airline or online travel agency by going to their website. In some cases, you'll be able to 'Book on Google', completing your transaction with the airline or travel agency while staying on Google. and if you do "Book on ...

You have to change the country in the bottom of the Google Flights page, as you always get redirected to the version of the booking website for your chosen country: (Note that the currency you set in Google Flights influences neither the language of the OTA website nor the currency you are charged in.)

Is there a way to make sure that when you've set Google Flights to English that it will take you to the English language version of the booking site? No (you can't even make sure that the prices displayed on Google Flights are correct…), but you can increase the likelihood of viewing an English version using some computer (e.g. via VPN or VNC) located in ...

I've seen a similar issue specifically when I search Multi-city instead of a one way. I wanted to book through Chase Ultimate Rewards and got an error, when I called the support desk they said "it must be the airline hasn't updated their inventory", but I kept seeing the same fare multiple days after. In my case, the fare may have existed at some point, but ...

Flight prices often go down and up within short periods of time - I have seen specials offered for less than an hour. It could well be that the Google Flights search result is updated only once per day (or every 8 or every 4 hours), so the amount shown is simply outdated - it was available a while ago, but you 'missed it'. Unfortunately, there are also many ...

The "start" button will start the turn-by-turn driving directions mode (looks something like this) where it will show your position and highlight each upcoming turn or merge. If you have the sound on, it will also announce each turn for you out loud. Unless you're actually driving the bus, this is not all that useful on public transit, as you won't need the ...

There is a website in Brazil that allows users to set price alerts regardless of dates (voopter.com.br). All you have to do is set a departure and destination airport and select the highest fare you would be willing to pay (be it a one-way or round trip). It's a collaborative platform, so the more people search flights on it, the higher are the chances to be ...

As far as I know, no travel site allows setting super-flexible alerts right now Kiwi allows alerting through date period. I do not know how good this function really works, but just for you to know. I set it up and received Kiwi notifications only occasionally, so have no idea if the prices didn't change or it's not working properly.

Google Flight is just a marketplace for airlines and online travel agencies. It lists their flight deals, and help the interested customers to compare and book smartly. Any queries regarding the flight has to be answered by the supplier only. It will be a single ticket.
