Assuming your flights were booked as a single itinerary, you will not need to go back through security nor pick up any checked luggage in Denver. When your first flight lands: Get off the plane, taking your carry-on luggage with you (note 1) Look for a monitor displaying departing flights Find your second flight and note its gate number Go to that gate ...

Personally I would consider this far to risky. According to Google Maps, Boulder to Denver Airport at that time of day will "typically" take 40-70 minutes if you take E-470 (which is a toll road). Even if your Uber is pulling away at 5pm, that means you'll be arriving at DIA at 6pm. Your flight will board at 6:05pm, so literally as you are walking into ...

No, it is not the case. According to a DEN employee in 2014, the airport falls under the federal jurisdiction, and the federal government does not allow such sales to take place. Thus, all smoking lounges in DEN are cannabis-free. Apparently, according to the same employee, some people do manage to get past the security and into those lounges with their ...

Not much. You'll have to take a train (RTD A line) to downtown (Union Station). It is about a 40 minute trip with trains at intervals of 15 or 30 minutes depending on the time of day. Plus, it takes some time to get from your gate to the train station (there is an underground people mover). On the return, you'll have to allow time to go through security, ...

No, you may not. Denver City Council passed an ordinance banning the possession of marijuana within Denver International Airport. It is an offense punishable by fine or imprisonment, although it seems to be laxly enforced. http://www.denverpost.com/marijuana/ci_24813887/dia-first-denver-facility-ban-marijuana-possession http://www.usatoday.com/story/...

Since April 2016, the RTD A Line is now in operation. This is a direct rail line from Denver International Airport to downtown Denver (Union Station). The airport rail station is at the south end of the main terminal. There are trains every 15 minutes most of the day, going to every 30 minutes after 6:30pm and early mornings. There are departures from ...

The terminal at DEN has a very simple layout. It's a single large rectangular building with 6 levels, 1 being the lowest and 6 being the highest, with roads passing along the east and west sides on levels 4, 5, and 6. The building is almost perfectly symmetrical from east to west. The domestic baggage claim carousels are on level 5, on the east and west ...

No, you will not be able to consume marijuana in any airport. I would recommend consuming your cannabis that you purchased in a dispensary before you enter the airport. It will make the flight more interesting. Marijuana is still illegal under federal law because it is still on the Schedule 1 Controlled Substance list. Airport security abides by federal law....

Since April 2016, the RTD A Line is now in operation. This is a direct rail line from Denver International Airport to downtown Denver (Union Station). See this answer for details. Union Station is right at the northwest end of the 16th Street Mall. There is a free MallRide shuttle bus running the length of the mall, if you want to get to a different ...

While Wikivoyage is a good place to check for info like this you can generally find good info on the relevant official airport website. At least I have been able to most times I've tried. So, here's Denver airports official page. Following the Ground Transportation / Public Transport links gets you to a page about the SkyRide public bus service. From there ...

As @Flimzy pointed out. Google Maps has pretty extensive public transportation information. So you can simply try to get the options from it. In addition you can look at RTD, which allows you to do the same thing but in the end uses Google Maps for rendering options.

You've had a lot of good advice that I'm not going to repeat, other than to say that half a century of travelling the world has taught me that the most important thing is to ask, ask and ask again. Never be afraid to ask -- you won't look stupid, no matter how dumb you may be afraid your question may seem to yourself. Intelligent travellers keep asking ...

No. You can't do this. I've made this trip multiple times. It can't be done in two hours.
