I'm planning to go to India in Jan. I've just recently moved to NYC so I don't know much about the city. I'd like to get some vaccines. I googled some and found a lot of clinics that providing that. I'm not sure if it's better to go to the hospital or private clinics. I also heard that in the US private clinic is very expensive. 

When I was in the UK I went to my GP which is a lot cheaper than travel clinic. However, I don't know the system in the US.
