So I’m a Nigerian that owns an IT consultancy business. I don’t pay myself salary but I spend my profit and I transfer from my business account to my savings for onward use every now and then. Would it be OK/is it acceptable to transfer money from my business account to my savings for vacation purposes to use for a visa application? It’s my profit but I reinvest it into the business every time other than keeping it in my savings.

If you normally invest the profit in the business, why are you suddenly deciding to use it on a vacation instead? – DJClayworth Feb 21 at 17:51

You can just give also the business account statements. It is still your money, and it proof how much you get. The other solution seems more like money parking, so ad the end you should in any case provide your business account data – Giacomo Catenazzi Feb 21 at 17:52
  • @GiacomoCatenazzi I’ll definitely provide my business account statement also. – user87882 Feb 21 at 17:54

So far as you have the tax clearance for your business and certificate of incorporation for the business, you can use your business account. No need for moving money around. For small businesses tax clearance certificate is vital – cHiEf Immigration vIoLaTer Feb 21 at 18:12
