  • What was the date of your application? A timing difference of less than a month shouldn’t be a problem IMHO. What do you mean by ‘make a new’? You can’t present new documents at your biometric appointment – Traveller Feb 11 at 8:17
  • Making a new before I attend my appointment that mean the balance would be of today or tomorrow or even same day as the appointment which is 3 days ahead of us now ,ie 14th February (valentine day if you wish) – james smith Feb 11 at 8:19
  • A new bank statement? Yes, why not? It’s typical to provide statements for the last 6 months, I’d say anything within a month of the application date is ok but go ahead and get the update if you’re worried about the timing difference being too great. – Traveller Feb 11 at 8:27
  • the 24th January has a bug in the system where it says my sponsor did not have enough money to pay something of an amount like 1000pounds but literally the last 6 months have checks of like 2000 to 3000 paid on regular basis so if I do bring a bank statement that goes further than 23th January I'd bring an excuse letter from the bank that it was a technical issue and I'm afraid itll complicate my case, I'm not lying it was a bug in the system and even in my sponsor's non Visa situations its creating problems – james smith Feb 11 at 8:30

Surely they understand that bank statements are typically issued monthly so, if your statements are dated the 23rd of each month, it's obvious that the 23rd of January will be the most recent statement available for your appointment in mid-February. – David Richerby Feb 11 at 13:50
