I live in Japan. My brother came to Japan as tourist and he didn't communicate with me properly so he ended up with no working mobile phone and didn't bring his laptop so he can't use the Wi-Fi in his apartment- weekly mansion. How to reliably find Internet cafes?

Google is useless- for instance it lists a whole bunch around Yono Station which I know for a fact do not have computers- some definitely don't have free WiFi or any WiFi.

  • Do you need a list of them for the entire country, or are you looking for a single internet cafe with computers in a specific place? – John Zwinck Nov 25 '18 at 4:58
  • Singles ones in Saitama City would be good. – user2617804 Nov 25 '18 at 5:28
  • I'm quite sure you can find somes internet shop in shoutengai (商店街), especially around big station. – Binh Nov 26 '18 at 1:06
  • Can he not connect his phone to Wi-Fi? You don't need a laptop for that, and a phone on Wi-Fi would work fine without a mobile connection. Or did he not bring a phone either? – Bob Nov 26 '18 at 3:57
  • He brought a phone which doesn't work on Japanese networks- he was told otherwise. The phone is too basic to use WiFi Internet. – user2617804 Nov 26 '18 at 6:59
