Where did you find the picture? – Michael Hampton Oct 20 '18 at 13:01
  • FWIW Google images doesn't seem to know about it. – Peter M Oct 20 '18 at 14:01

The general shape reminds me of monasteries in Armenia, Georgia, the Balkans. – Roddy of the Frozen Peas Oct 20 '18 at 14:36

Welcome to the site. I gave your post a more specific title, and added the tag identify-this which we use for all questions of this kind. – Nate Eldredge Oct 20 '18 at 14:42

@WeatherVane There was still the possibility that this site scrubs meta data of uploaded pics - something that may not have happened to the OPs copy. – Peter M Oct 20 '18 at 22:09

This would seem to be the Church of the Nativity of Jesus Christ in Chkondidi, Martvili Monastery, in Georgia.

An "Art Print of Martvili Monastery" is ca. 50 images down a Google Image search for "Georgian Monastery" looking pretty similar to OP's pic. – user13190 Oct 20 '18 at 19:37
  • To be clear, this is in Georgia the country, not Georgia the US state, correct? – Thunderforge Oct 21 '18 at 1:56

@Thunderforge I can't imagine any place in the US having the name Chkondidi. – phoog Oct 21 '18 at 5:18

Also, this church is far too old to be in the USA. – RHA Oct 21 '18 at 18:04
