Copenhagen and the surrounding areas of Denmark are fairly flat for decent mountain biking.

Is there anywhere within 6 or 7 hours travelling by car (or train) from Copenhagen with some more hilly (dare I say challenging) trails? I was thinking along the lines of southern Sweden, or perhaps a little further north, if anyone could help out in that general direction.

Travel how... with car/train you will not get that far in half a day. Växjö perhaps? – Tomas By Jul 11 '18 at 15:03
  • By car, with no more than about 6/7 hours driving if possible. – David Wadge Jul 11 '18 at 15:06
  • Anywhere in Småland should be possible then. – Tomas By Jul 11 '18 at 15:15
  • Note that most trains in Sweden, including many in southern Sweden, do not accept bicycles unless disassembled. – gerrit Jul 12 '18 at 7:02
  • VTC: way too broad, as the parameters cover nearly the entire country. – Giorgio Jul 26 '18 at 18:09
