comment Is Legoland only for kids?
According to my 5 year old nephew, the Lego movie is only for Kids. Not sure that helps for your question, but he was fairly adamant about it so I though I'd mention it... :)

comment Going between Canada and America with the visa waiver program
You got lucky. Officially Canada IS counted against your time in the US under the VWP if you go US->Canada->US. By the letter of the law, you should NOT have been allowed re-enter the US.

comment Are US citizens allowed to fly anywhere outside the 50 states without a passport?
@gerrit There are no airports in Washington DC, so it's not possible to fly there with or without a passport.

comment How much do roof racks hurt gas mileage?
It doesn't matter if the measurements are in MPG or Light Years per Flanian Pobble Bead, it's the relative difference between them that matters.

comment Can I use a passport card as ID in a bar?
Officially a Passport Card is a Passport. Oregon allows Passports to be used as ID for purchasing alcohol. The US treats both a "Passport Card" and a "Passport Book" as a "Passport".

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo Other countries may have ID cards that look similar, but it's not uncommon for bars not to accept IDs from another countries other than a passport. Many drivers licenses around the world look similar, but that doesn't mean they will be accepted as valid ID internationally.

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo Can you point to a US single state TODAY that will not accept a passport card as valid ID? This question isn't asking about 2009, especially given that passport cards didn't exist before July 2008!

comment Where to find the cheapest car rental in Birmingham, Alabama?
Rental prices vary by the day, as do the coupons and codes that some vendors use. There almost certainly isn't going to be a single answer to this question...

Personally I'd suggest catching a train.

comment What should I do with my expired passport?
Keep in mind that this could be considered "mutilating" your (current) passport, which technically could make it invalid.
