I'm a one-man-shop landscape architect, ecologist and gardener based in southernmost New Zealand and specialise in landscape design and planning for rural clients (farms and larger lifestyle blocks), as well as some town-garden and streetscape work.
I'm well-versed in weed-science and ecology, urban trees, NZ native plants, perennials and herbs. On the hardscape side I specialise in planted and technical solutions for storm-water and farm runoff control, geotextile applications, and 'soft' drivable surfaces.
I have a deeper background in materials and fabrication; mold-making, plastics, panelbeating, woodwork, concrete and construction, all of which helps with the hard side of landscape design.
I work from a tiny (pop. 22), remote (nearest town 60km) place, and the net is what makes my life and business here posssible; being able to put a ? up on StackExchange and get a great answer is really fine.
