NVM, I'll try to rephrase it more specifically, then. Oh, it won't let me delete it, strange, since there are no upvoted answer…

I appreciate your story, maybe I wasn't clear enough, but "country is corrupt" counts as "special restrictions", as far as this question is concerned. I.e. I want to know why people feel the need to do that anyway even if neither country is "corrupt".

@GayotFow oh, then I misunderstood. Well, I think closing would be pontless now: either good answers come, or don't. If they come, this would be de-facto in-topic, if they don't, then yes it might have to be closed. But give some time to answer… ;)

But this would fall back under the "countries wish special restrictions" case, and I do understand why you want to show one passport instead of another one. What I'm asking, is why everyone seems to be concerned with that, even when neither of their countries has such restrictions.

@EwanMellor ok, the term is different, but the physical action behind those terms is basically the same "we move you from here to there", or there is any actual difference?

comment Cancelled UK visa on entry
Likely this is correct and, ok, I understand… but it still doesn't make much sense anyway. So, you ask for a 3 weeks visa, they give you one that basically says "this visa is valid for 6 months, but haha no it's a trap"? Why don't they just gave a 3 weeks visa, as requested, instead? I really see no reason other than intentionally using it as a trap, and I wouldn't understand the rationale behind it.

@Calchas countries in the world: almost 200. Countries who do flouridation to a significant extent: more or less a dozen. "minor exceptions".

comment Layover at Vienna for 6 hours - enough for some sightseeing?
@Francesco yeah, it would be supposed to be drank before, but if it's sparkling I also like to drink it after, in order to highlight its taste (same thing happens with ice-creams).

The "small glass of water with coffee" is a bit widespread in Italy too, though I'm not sure where or when it originated.

@Jayraj then it depends heavily on the location. Here in Italy AFAIK you likely have to sit on the front seat with Uber.

comment Is it possible to avoid being sniffed by dogs at Heathrow airport and possibly other airports?
@FooBar technically, if they are touching your clothes, they aren't touching you. Touching a bag you carry? What if a bag you are currently carrying has been touched by a dog? What if another person you touch has touched a god? What if you walk where a dog has walked? Is the floor really different from a bag?

@user31613 saying you were imprisoned for x years is a strong hint to find out who you actually are, in case someone tries to investigate. Given the situation, you should try to be as anonymous as possible.
