comment Buying a return ticket for a child flying with different parent
Unclear. What happens to the daughter when you travel back to Canada? Did the mother came back from England or not?

comment Can a visitor who is “of age” in their country drink underage in the United States of America?
This question is deinitely not as silly as someone thinks. It should be rephrased as "If I am of age in my country, will other countries, specifically US, consider me to be of age, or will they use their own value?" and the answer is definitely not obvious or granted.

comment Identification card for foreigners in trains in Germany
I'm surprised they can legally have this kind of limitation, like arbitrarily deciding that some countries ID cards are ok and some others are not: I would expect Shengen not to allow this…

comment Is Indian food easily available in European countries?
I'm Italian, I've tried to eat Italian food abroad, and it always sucked. I don't expect other cousines to be any different. I like Indian food I can find here, but I assume a native Indian could likely find it awful.

comment UK tourist visa refused 3 times. Need to get there for flight home
@DJClayworth well, according to what I managed to understand, it's the immigration officer who started making troubles out of nowhere, when OP's initial intention was simply turism… it escalated, sure, but you can't blame him if they started it for no reason.

comment I want to go to Las Vegas this weekend, but my Mexican passport expired in March, would I have problems?
How can you even think about asking such a thing? Did you really need to ask? Don't mean to sound rude, but, you know, next time go to the Cooking SE and ask if it's safe to eat a food labeled as "poisonous, do not eat"?

comment Is soy milk easy to get in Western Europe?
In Italy it's common enough you'll likely find it, though maybe not at first try. This, in bigger cities. In remote villages, however, you might have problems.

comment Food Allergies in Europe
Italian bakeries always include a sort of "menu" with the ingredients used in each product. It's very rarely consulted, so often it's a bit hidden, but it's always there since it's mandatory.

Related: wouldn't be carrying 5 suitcases sound suspicious? What could be done to avoid it? Might be worth asking this question.

comment How much cash to carry for a conference in the Netherlands?
@MarkMayo I'm sorry to be nitpicky, but again, it still isn't a valid reason to post bad options. She could also bring gold ingots and try to change them with cash, while we're at it…

The sole fact that it is an "option she didn't consider" doesn't make it a good option.

Oh! I assumed, as the OP I guess, that the trees were hiding a building! Nice trees, btw: goo.gl/maps/lr1BW

comment Why do Eurotunnel do cheaper fares for shorter trips
@jpatokal uh? In that case it would be cheaper to buy another way-and-back ticket to come back in a different day…
