comment Is it allowed to carry “a knife” or “a pepper spray” while traveling by road in the Schengen area as a woman?
@jwenting: that would make great question for Skeptics.SE ;-)

@jwenting: not unlike caliphates of France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

@jwenting: high rate of rape in Sweden is due very broad definition of rape there, which in other countries would constitute not rape, but sexual harassment.

comment Why is buying an airline ticket from the company more expensive than from an aggregator like Skyscanner?
actually this is not only limited to airlines, may other businesses have lower prices when accessing from aggregator sites. Logic behind it is that if someone uses aggregator site, he's not decided on airline yet. And obviously lower the price, higher in the search. Sometimes $5 can make difference between result #1 and result #20.

comment Traveling international from Peru with dual citizenship baby
Actually in some countries it's more than just "should be", it's a legal obligation to use country's passport while entering/leaving if you're citizen.

comment Is there catering on Dutch domestic trains?
When I traveled on A'dam->Brussels train few months ago, there was a trolley (train was normal IC, not Thalys), but they didn't offer much (coffee and candy bars). That train seemed to be operated by Belgian Rail.

comment How can I do a “broad” search for flights?
In SkyScanner you can also select whole country as your destination, for example "Italy (Any)"

comment Is it feasible to travel daily from Gavà to Barcelona?
Also, in the car option you left out the question of finding parking space in Barcelona. And paying for it, which isn't cheap. On the public transport page you can check how long it takes on emt.cat/Principales/BusquedaTrayecto.aspx Seems that it's about 50 minutes bus ride.

comment Am I entitled to air passengers compensation if my flight was cancelled and I did not get a re-route?
btw. cancellations, which are indeed due bad weather, are usually about the weather at destination, as visibility minimums for landings are much stricter.

comment Getting passport stamps inside Schengen Area
@machlas: no there isn't. Schengen-Schengen flight is just like domestic flight. There is ID/ticket check performed by airline and that's it.

comment Getting passport stamps inside Schengen Area
@Simon: ask who exactly to stamp you passport? there is no difference between Schengen travel and domestic travel, there is no passport control.

comment Do I need a visa to transit through Germany?
Berlin->Frankfurt flight within Schengen, thus most likely you'd have to enter Schengen part of the airport. Which AFAIK requires transfer visa.

comment Getting to Petra from Amman in Jordan
Of course taxis aren't cheapest way of travel if you're traveling alone. Sharing a taxi between 4 people OTOH is quite affordable alternative.

comment Getting to Petra from Amman in Jordan
Amman hasn't got Streetview, but it has got satelite view: goo.gl/maps/U94r2 that looks like a bus station to me. As for taxi, I didn't mean taxi from Petra to Amman, but taxi from Petra to Wadi Rum. Still a bit of a ride (115km). Petra City as you call it is a small town called Wadi Musa.

comment Where can I go by boat from Amsterdam?
@Patrick: sorry, I'm not from A'dam, I'm in A'dam. And I'm not into canal boating. Anyway, the Netherlands have 6000km of waterways. There are numerous books on the subject. For example: amazon.co.uk/dp/0983284121 amazon.co.uk/dp/184623185X amazon.co.uk/dp/0852889763

comment Where can I go by boat from Amsterdam?
This question is to broad, given that you can pretty much travel whole of the Netherlands and great part of neighboring countries by boat. Be more specific about the trip you're looking for.
