comment Impact of not having life insurance on sponsoring B2 VISA for parents?
@MarkMayo Afaik, B2 visas are for holidays, so why shouldn't it be a travel question?

I'm really not convinced that this question is travel-related...

comment What is a good way how to get list of sights for a road trip (e.g. for a roadtrip from Chicago to Niagara falls?)
I'm not sure if you have enough reputation, but normally directly below the tags of your question, there are a couple of links, such as delete, edit, flag and also reopen.

comment Overstaying student visa and switching to tourist visa in Brazil
It was by land, I drove from Argentina to Brazil and back a couple of times. It was in Puerto Iguazu and Urugaiana. As annoyed pointed out, I'm not EU citizen, but I had EU citizens with me.

But don't you get a new stamp every time you enter Brazil? This January, I entered Brazil 3 times and every time, I got a new 90 days stamp.

comment Why don't they give you a sweet on take-off anymore?
@uncovery That's really not my experience. I just recently flew with Swiss a couple of times and I got chocolate on each leg.

comment Is “Flying Return” the only available loyalty program for Air India?
That would be great! I have already quite a lot of M&M miles and I'm always looking for more. Thanks!

I'm not really sure if I understand your answer correctly, but do you suggest that I should try to request the miles in the Miles and More program?

comment What are the advantages of booking through a booking site instead of booking directly with the hotel?
I think there is another major advantage: Using booking.com you are able to get a very quick overview about a lot of different hotels that are available at a location. Furthermore, booking.com has it's own loyalty program.

comment When picking a “luxury hostel” for a business trip, how to ensure it'll be quiet enough?
Some hostels explicitly advertise themselves as party hostels. I avoid at least definitively avoid these hostels!

I would "accidentally" lose my passport right before the flight. Wouldn't that be an option?

comment How long does it take to cross the border at Iguazu Falls?
I did this a month ago with a car. On the way form Argentina to Brazil, it took about 15 minutes. On the way back it took more than 60 minutes, but it seemed to be the rush hour in the evening. I would recommend to visit both sides. The Argentinian side offers way more things to do and I think it was much nicer to walk there. On the other hand, on the Brazilian side, you have a very good overview about the falls and you can get very very close to the falls.

comment Do Argentinian ATMs only accept 4 digit pins?
I'm back from Argentina. AS @user1712 already mentioned, HSBC accept 6 digits pin codes, but most other ATMs do not. Since it is a little bit cumbersome to just use HSBC ATMs, I would strongly recommend to change the PIN to 4 digits before going to Argentina.
