comment Tipping in Europe when paying by credit card?
You seem to have completely different experience than I have. Maybe you work and go to other restaurants than I do. But just now, a third answer about Sweden also confirmed the credit card tipping approach.

comment Tipping in Europe when paying by credit card?
I arrive to that conclusion by living in these countries, going to restaurants and seeing other people paying, as well as by talking to friends who do it exactly the same way. Check Dr Banana's answer which also supports my opinion.

comment Tipping in Europe when paying by credit card?
That's definitively not true. I'm sure that this is very common at least in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, Liechtenstein, Austria, ...

Why do you think that the licence plate is old? It's not even a year old.

comment What is the average & max temperature of an airplane cargo hold?
I think this one should be reopened, since questions are only duplicates if the question is the same and not if the answers happen to be the same.

comment Eating cat meat as a tourist in Switzerland
I had to slightly correct my comment from above. Your best chance is probably Ticino.

comment Eating cat meat as a tourist in Switzerland
It's definitively quite uncommon in Switzerland and you won't find it in any restaurant. Your best chance is probably when you try to get invited for dinner by a local farmer family in Appenzell. It's quite a open secret that they sometimes eat dogs, and very rarely probably also cats. Other than that, I see no options to get cat meat in Switzerland.

I think this question fits both sites and since it was asked here, I'm going to cast the missing reopen vote.

comment From Italy to Austria during winter, by car
But what for example if you rent a car in Bozen in January? Clearly you should use winter tires then. I'm not sure if it's just not the car rental agency's problem. They have to provide you with a car that is safe to operate and without winter tires it is clearly not safe.

comment Dubai immigration problem
I think he is asking if he will get in trouble when he travels to Dubai, because his brother, who has the same surname, is in trouble for owning banks some money.

comment Why police didn't even block me once at the airport arrivals?
@Aluminum I still don't get it why the should. As far as I know the police in Italy does not stop random people if they don't strongly believe that someone is suspicious. So maybe you just do not look like a drug dealer :)

comment Why police didn't even block me once at the airport arrivals?
@Aluminum Imho drugs are only very rarely carried by passengers on normal flights. There much safer ways to do so.

Just as a follow up: I took all these devices with me and no one even asked me any question about them.
