Travel by working? I think this is way too broad a question - could I suggest you narrow it down to either your own specific skills, or work available for unskilled people? |

Where is THIS Landform? Looks like the particular image in the question had some creative colour adjustment applied, and you probably shouldn't expect to see blues like that picture. The photos here seem a bit more representative. |

Prepaid Debit Card for traveling in Europe from Israeli bank Most banks and travel agencies in Israel should offer prepaid travel credit cards. I've used a couple that were branded in this manner (though neither purchased in Israel), but both were essentially rebranding a "travelex cash passport" card. I'd suggest looking at some local bank and travel agency websites as a starting point. |

Does it makes sense to travel to Iceland during winter? I had a very good time overtaking the snow plows plowing the ring road in my little rental car. A blizzard may hamper your travel plans, but worst case is you're stuck doing 20km/h behind the plow. |

What type of mosquito repellent is most effective? @Malvolio The closest thing you can get to a resort in the Solomon Islands, a place called Sanbis. Highly recommended! |

What clothes should I bring on a backpacking trip I'm the odd one out, I guess - I find travel towels / body chamois to be absolutely miserable to use, especially in cold places. They don't dry you completely! I strongly suggest using a travel towel for a couple of weeks before you leave to ensure you're happy with how it works. I turfed mine and got a real towel. The added benefits of a real towel: you can walk to/from showers in it, and when dry it can act as a makeshift blanket or pillow. |

What clothes should I bring on a backpacking trip My issues with this: synthetic tops stank after a few hours wearing, despite deodorant, so I preferred natural fibres. I also find the zip-off pants really dorky, and abandoned them for jeans part-way through my travels. What you should take depends heavily on what you're doing (hiking and hand-washing clothes has completely different requirements to city touring with the availability of washers and dryers, for example). |

What type of mosquito repellent is most effective? Also be careful of synthetic clothing (DEET can melt it). It also ruins painted fingernails - my girlfriend learnt that the hard way! Absolutely worth it if you can't afford to be bitten. |

Long stopover time in Melbourne Airport Looks like it will cost you $75AUD to change flights. I would go ahead and do it as soon as you can. |
