comment How late are restaurants open until in Italy? (Bologna specifically)
@GayotFow From my point of view my answer did have substance in it, and the OP agreed with me by selecting it. The dearth of other answers also tends to substantiate the quality of my answer. As for the down voting, people do what people do - although in this case I find it amusing.

@GayotFow This is branching into discussion rather than comments, but short of moving to Bologna I can't really give an answer with more substance.

comment Mitigating the Caribbean Hurricane season (2016)
Given the % cost of travel insurance in the total travel cost I see it as a no brainer. Last christmas we spent $USD7K just on flights alone for 2 people just to get to Australia for Christmas (damned high season) so $300 for travel insurance is nothing.

I'm not a US citizen, so I can easily get to Cuba .. but my wife wouldn't be happy with me going by myself .. specially as it's for her birthday! (BTW a US cruise ship docked there today). Also I consider travel insurance a must for any sort of international travel.

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo The list does prove that there are restaurants that claim to stay open really late. So in that respect I think it does provide useful and relevant information.

comment Is Casablanca totally safe?
Just as a general comment .. I sometimes think that any question of the form "Is {$FavouriteCity} safe?" is a bit meaningless as you can get into trouble in any city in any part of the world - including the "safe" parts. However lists of explicit locales/behaviors to avoid are more useful.

comment Is it worthwhile to rent a phone in Buenos Aires?
I saw that Rent Argentina also bills you for a minimum of 10 minutes per day. I am looking into these companies plus another one I know of.

comment What is overbooking (of flights), and why do airlines all seem to do it?
The consequences of your proposed model are that if you as a passenger miss any flight for any reason at all, you are now liable for coming up instantly with the cash to continue your trip.

Thanks for the rate information. But do you have any ideas on the quality of service? ie do they deliver on time? I'm trying to estimate the level of hassle of SIM vs rental.

comment Where can I find guided tours of Australia by indigenous people?
@Simon Given that the OP has expressed interest in working with Aboriginals I thought it appropriate to point out how the local people refer to it.
