Insurance for multinational family In the end I found a reputable British insurer who has an "International" brand - ie XXXX International - who were prepared to insure any EU citizens provided they had lived in their base-country (in your case Belgium) for a minimum of 6 months. |

What is the LONGEST passenger flight (with a flight number) in the world? There is a flight from a French colony (Nouvelle Calédonie, I think) in the South Pacific to Paris via Réunion. I have no idea on any details (flight number, distance, time) but it might be a candidate. It basically goes west across Australia, lands in Réunion to pick up passengers (this is where I got on) and then flies north west over the Horn of Africa to Paris. |

Insurance for multinational family That's exactly the problem. For some reason that I don't quite understand, the insurance policy is nationality specific. |

Changing trains in Lille - what's the transfer with luggage between Lille Europe and Lille Flanders stations like? If your ticket requires a change between the two stations in Lille (eg you are travelling on train 1 from A to Lille Europe and train 2 from Lille Flanders to B) then your ticket on the metro is actually free. See the second white box on the top of this page: gares-en-mouvement.com/fr/frlle/horaires-temps-reel/dep there is no physical system that stops you from walking onto the metro, so you would only need to show your SNCF ticket if challenged. |

Can you use your mobile phone in the channel tunnel? To add to this, the Channel Tunnel is actually 3 tunnels - a service tunnel down the middle and then one standard tunnel in each direction. The French networks have crossed the channel in the France-UK direction while the British networks have done the reverse. eurotunnelgroup.com/uploadedFiles/assets-uk/Media/… |

Things to do in the Peak District Sorry, I should have been more clear. Thanks for the input though - it's an area I don't know at all but have always wanted to visit. I'm a big fan of UK National Parks, so I'm really looking forward to it! |
