comment How are intersections between two numbered streets named in New York?
@LessPop_MoreFizz That's why I said almost always. For example, 35th Road and 37th Road in Jackson Heights are really short so 37th means 37th Ave unless noted. Also local people there do use the numerical coordinates.

In certain neighborhoods in Queens—such as Woodside, Jackson Heights, or East Elmhurst—the intersection of numbered streets is almost always unambiguous because the street numbers are higher than avenue numbers.

comment Which (South) East-Asian contries are the cleanest?
As a guy from Bangkok who lives in New York, I think any big cities are quite the same (besides, say, Tokyo and Singapore because of the reasons that others have mentioned.) In general, tropical countries look dirtier because of heat, humidity, and possibly your definition of cleanliness. For many people in Thailand, public places are not of anyone's interest but private places are usually clean.

I am in Toronto now and I have asked some places around, their exchange rate is around 1 USD = 0.90 CAD, so it is about 10%.
