comment The Great Wall of China: Where should I start a visit?
youtube.com/… "It;s not a great wall; it's an alright wall. It's the alright wall of china..." Also, the part you see on the pictures (or any parts of the wall with a tourist entrance) have been rebuild - the original wall looks pretty desolate since it wasn't maintained for a few hundred years at least.

comment How to get from Wroclaw airport to city center?
What time do you land in Wroclaw? Is it one of those supercheap Ryanair flights that leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere at 3am, and the taxis and buses wont show up on the airport before 7? :)

comment What do you do when you're on-the-road and you cannot shower?
Pro-tip if you are a man and therefore don't carry anti-bacterial handwash around: Vodka has pretty much the same effect :)

If the water is freezing then you use the plug, let some cold water in and add some hot water from the kettle until the temperature is ok. Did you never go camping?

Please don't call them "Fake Police" - "Freelance Police" is the preferred term!

comment How does the scuba diving compare between Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay?
Disagree on the price. Byron bay is a tourist trap and get's much more backpackers and travellers, and everything i bought there (accommodation, food, tours) was way more expensive than in Coffs Harbor.

comment Backpacking in Europe for the first time
You're living on the edge, Mark :) I would not expect to find a 20 EUR hostel in each town. Even if so, all the cheap rooms might be booked out; especially during high season.

comment Car rental vs. buying a car for 1 month
Yeah; i think the insurance and registration when buying would be a dealbreaker for me. Didn't expect it to be so difficult; could get a car, registration and insurance done in AUS and NZ in 3h an then i'm on the road...

comment How can I travel between US towns without flying
I don't think you would save on hotels. The average hotel costs about $60-100/night, but an RV will probably cost you $150/day. Plus you don't want to drive a RV inside the city where parking is a nightmare.
