I've been working with map projections and datum transformations for years, including in ArcView GIS, ArcInfo 7 and up, MapObjects, and ArcGIS.

You'll get it at the border.

Interesting! Can you find an official cite? I've looked but can't find anything. Closest thing was an earlier question here, answered by Doc.

comment Japanese style or themed accommodation in Melbourne
I tried looking for a Japanese-owned downtown hotel, but didn't find anything. 25 years ago, there was one in Sydney.

comment Is this back to back ticketing or throwaway ticketing?
I haven't done this internationally, but I've certainly done it domestically when I had to make several trips on the same itinerary within a few months.

There's a very interesting (to me, at least) paper at the NIH on "Recommendations for management of Diabetes during Ramadan.".

comment Marital status for re-entering USA if you got married abroad without registering?
I think you're better off marrying in the US, applying for adjustment of status and advance parole, and once that clears then having a 2nd ceremony in your home country.

Here's a decent write-up from BYU.

comment Is there a liability limit for a carry-on bag that was forcibly checked plane-side?
I bet it doesn't matter--that they won't cover beyond the liability. What if an attendant was moving bags in the overhead bin, and yours fell out. What if someone kicked an item you had under the seat in front of you and broke something? I can't see them accepting liability beyond what was stated in the carriage terms.

Can you extract the item so you can still take it on-board? I know this is not the question you asked.

I think @pnuts is asking that for the questions where you found a solution yourself, add an answer and accept it.

Can the route cross through Belize?

comment What do these different hotel rates mean?
It means the rate will be what is stated each night. If you stay all those nights, you'll pay $691 plus 15% tax. It looks like a hotel that caters to business travelers, thus more expensive during the week than on the weekend.

comment Can I reenter the U.S. from Canada with no passport as a US citizen?
Not an answer, but if you can afford to travel, work on paying the *$(# child support. I hope you've been truthful to your fiancée about it.

comment Choosing a car for travel with kids in Florida USA
Some answers assume you're going to have 3 weeks worth of clothes, etc. Is that the case, or are you planning to bring more like 1 week's worth and will do laundry a few times during the trip?

While a quick search didn't turn up an exact duplicate, you may want to look and/or post on The Workplace.

Multiply double silverware for all patrons of a restaurant--that's quite a bit of extra 'washing up.'

comment How can I discover what time of the year hotels will be cheapest for a given city, e.g. Tokyo?
Oh, I see. I was misinterpreting a statement--the December/January one as booking now could be more expensive than booking later. Sorry!

comment How can I discover what time of the year hotels will be cheapest for a given city, e.g. Tokyo?
Why would you think that booking now (in December) would adversely affect rates in January or February or any other time? Hotel booking prices are just like airfare prices--based on anticipated demand at a particular time, not necessarily when you book.
