Can I bring my desktop computer as check-in baggage on a flight? despite all the nasty things people say about luggage being tossed etc, it holds up pretty well. I've brought a screen in my checked luggage (long story) and it survived just fine. I wrapped it in my clothes. There might have also been bubble wrap involved. |

Travel Tips for Italy: Florence, Venice, Rome and Cinque Terre You probably have dozens of questions, so why not ask them - one at a time. For example, are you definitely going to all 4 places? Do you have a hotel in each? Have you decided what order to see them, and how to get between them? Those things are all precise enough to be the core of a good question. Just don't ask "what's the best x?" or "what are all the x in y?" - Also look through the italy and venice tags for examples of good questions. |

Is organised convoy driving behind a snowplough common anywhere outside Norway? Well, only a fool would pass a snowplow, so it's very common in Canada to see a long line of cars following a snowplow. Waiting somewhere for a snowplow to lead you along a highway, that's a different story. |
