comment When booking through online travel websites, how do I know if the airline will treat multi-flights as separate trips or a single trip?
@Fitri, I guess it is common knowledge. You get the same kind of results when you book from the Airline's websites directly. To answer your questions (a) yes, you don't have to touch your stuff in Manila (b) your luggage allowance should be mentioned somewhere before you book (especially if it is different for the two legs). Usually it is the bigger one though.

comment What tips or tricks can you use to get an upgraded/better hire car?
I mean that someone in the company could have made a mistake and gave the car you ordered to someone else.

To be honest I think that only having a high "status" with the company is a reliable thing, other options is just either luck or poor management of the rental company.

comment Is it possible to buy unlimited 3G/4G internet in Italy?
I agree with other people commenting, it is very unlikely 3G will be able to provide you with the bandwidth you are after. Especially indoors.

comment Data plans in Germany that can also can be used elsewhere in Europe
I haven't heard about reasonably priced Internet plans that work throughout Europe, the best way to go still seems to have a local sim card in every country you are visiting.

@Dirty-flow, I am pretty sure they are very close for the specific route and the specific period.

Some cheap airlines are worse than the others, and I always try to avoid the worse one :)

comment Which ski resorts in western Europe offer free lifts (intended for families)?
@DarkLightA, this is a fair point. However, the pass is more like a few hundred pounds for a week, and it costs pretty much the same to go to an area with free lifts.

Wow, they go really long way to detect these things! I don't think they have these systems here in Arabba yet, but I am not sure obviously.

comment Which ski resorts in western Europe offer free lifts (intended for families)?
@Vince, while a reduced cost beginner area is surely useful, the question was specifically about free areas.

@MarkMayo, thanks for your comment. I narrowed it down, hopefully will be helpful for other people now as well.

@MarcelC., I think you are right. I will ask (a bit more general) question about the second part.

comment How can I find the cheapest private hotel room (as opposed to a bed in a dorm) using online tools?
Checking hostelbookers, and the functionality is a bit sh1t to be honest, because I selected 1 person, and it sorts by the per person price of the cheapest private option (which is usually private 8 person or something ridiculous)
