comment Is it possible to pay for a British Airways flight that originates in Ireland in sterling?
Recently BA seems to make sure that the prices on their website are either the best or close to the best comparing to other websites. @feklee, usually the cost of phone call is not the biggest issue, they (e.g. Opodo) will charge you extra for every change of the tickets, on top of the airline charges.

comment Beach huts closest to London
I didn't realize you can just rent these huts! Thanks for letting me know. On this occasion I am looking for 'live-in' huts though (probably in warmer countries)...

comment What should I think of and prepare when flying with kids?
I am pretty sure they will be fine. 3h long flight is not a problem really. I agree with @Kate that you should try to educate them about flying, planes, etc. so they know what to expect.

comment When booking through online travel websites, how do I know if the airline will treat multi-flights as separate trips or a single trip?
@Fitri, I guess it is common knowledge. You get the same kind of results when you book from the Airline's websites directly. To answer your questions (a) yes, you don't have to touch your stuff in Manila (b) your luggage allowance should be mentioned somewhere before you book (especially if it is different for the two legs). Usually it is the bigger one though.

comment What tips or tricks can you use to get an upgraded/better hire car?
I mean that someone in the company could have made a mistake and gave the car you ordered to someone else.

To be honest I think that only having a high "status" with the company is a reliable thing, other options is just either luck or poor management of the rental company.

comment Is it possible to buy unlimited 3G/4G internet in Italy?
I agree with other people commenting, it is very unlikely 3G will be able to provide you with the bandwidth you are after. Especially indoors.

comment Data plans in Germany that can also can be used elsewhere in Europe
I haven't heard about reasonably priced Internet plans that work throughout Europe, the best way to go still seems to have a local sim card in every country you are visiting.

Some cheap airlines are worse than the others, and I always try to avoid the worse one :)

comment Which ski resorts in western Europe offer free lifts (intended for families)?
@DarkLightA, this is a fair point. However, the pass is more like a few hundred pounds for a week, and it costs pretty much the same to go to an area with free lifts.

Wow, they go really long way to detect these things! I don't think they have these systems here in Arabba yet, but I am not sure obviously.
