comment Are towels in hotels always replaced at the end of the stay?
It is better not to ask these questions ... :)

comment Does being an Irish person born in the UK make me a previous British citizen?
You can try to apply for a British passport as a final test :)

comment What are the rules on driving with a tow hook in the EU?
@CMaster, I narrowed it down a bit.

comment What are the rules on driving with a tow hook in the EU?
@CMaster, I was thinking what is the best way to ask this question. I currently live in Poland, so mostly I am interested in Poland and neighbouring countries. But having said that, Europe is pretty small and it is easy to drive to e.g. Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, France, etc. So a list/table would be a perfect answer.

comment Can Iranian-American dual nationals enter the EU without a visa?
Can't really disagree that ESTA looks pretty much like a e-Visa in other countries.

comment Changing planes in Athens
As far as I know Ryan air does not sell combined tickets with a layover - this means that if you don't make it (e.g. your first flight is delayed), you will loose the second ticket.

comment Transportation from St Pancras to Isle of Wight
@OrangeDog, this is the wrong branch of Northern Line. There are no direct trains to Waterloo, and it would take longer than the other options.

comment Cycle holidays with kids in Poland
I couldn't find any that would specialize in holidays with kids. The fact that you are travelling with kids does make a lot of difference.

comment Wizzair ticket cancellation
It is extremely unlikely that you would get any refund - this a cheap airline, sorry. Worth trying though - you can give them a quick call.

comment Travelling from Rabbit Island (Cambodia) to Can Tho (Vietnam)
@Malvolio, unfortunately there were no normal cabs around there and not many people to negotiate with. The distance was 11km, so maybe it took a bit longer - but I agree it was a rip off.

comment France Switzerland trip
I agree with @ZachLipton, just skip Switzerland this time. Towns in Switzerland are not that interesting anyways...

comment Spare baggage - what do airlines do with it?
I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure @ZachLipton is correct in that airlines "overbook" luggage allowance, because statistically on a vast majority of flights they will be OK with it.

comment Can I enter Colombia with an expired passport if I possess a second nationality?
I think you should only show them your Colombian documents and I can't really imagine they would not allow their citizen in. I would think that even an expired passport should be good enough to enter your country, so that you can apply for a new one "from home".

comment Skip leg and book a connection with the same airline
I seriously don't understand why would the regulators allow this kind of pricing... Selling a flight with more segments cheaper than the shorter one is clearly abusing the company's position in the market.

comment Second most photographed building in the southern hemisphere - why?
Most photographed building in the Northern hemisphere see pretty random as well, so I wouldn't attach too much value to these reports.

@blackbird57, I can't quote any legally binding sources, but I added a link to my answer.

comment Enquiry for visa requirement
@CMaster, I added some references. It is much more difficult to prove that some magic rule does not exist, rather than that it does, though :)
