And which airlines are these? I wouldn't trust any airline these days.

comment I am a UK state pensioner (dual citizenship) now living in Canada returning for a 3 week visit to UK - will NHS cover me?
Proof of ten years continuous residence - a bit ridiculous, especially if someone lived in the UK many years ago...

comment Do I actually need an EHIC?
To answer your comment, you are not entitled to national health service just be being a citizen of a given EU country. E.g. in the UK you need to be a resident, in other countries it is more complicated.

comment Best transportation method in Sicily
@radouxju, a large car would only be a problem in cities, but don't get paranoid about it. After a few days you get used to the traffic, but then it takes a few days after you return home to adjust back :). On a side note, it might be cheaper to rent two small cars instead of a big one if you have two drivers - this was the case when I was there.

comment Long-life SIM cards in Europe
The problem with using a German card in Sweeden or some other EU country is that the Internet connection will be more expensive than I would like to pay.

From my experience most airlines also allow you to check-in a stroller if you are travelling with an older child as well.
