comment Can I enter Colombia with an expired passport if I possess a second nationality?
I think you should only show them your Colombian documents and I can't really imagine they would not allow their citizen in. I would think that even an expired passport should be good enough to enter your country, so that you can apply for a new one "from home".

comment Skip leg and book a connection with the same airline
I seriously don't understand why would the regulators allow this kind of pricing... Selling a flight with more segments cheaper than the shorter one is clearly abusing the company's position in the market.

comment Second most photographed building in the southern hemisphere - why?
Most photographed building in the Northern hemisphere see pretty random as well, so I wouldn't attach too much value to these reports.

@blackbird57, I can't quote any legally binding sources, but I added a link to my answer.

comment Enquiry for visa requirement
@CMaster, I added some references. It is much more difficult to prove that some magic rule does not exist, rather than that it does, though :)

comment Price search for a weekend flight to a specific city over a few months
Looks like exactly something I need, thanks! The only issue is that Ryanair's systems seem not to be working very well this afternoon.

comment Is there a way to avoid the so called “resort fee”?
Hopefully it will not spread around the world, I really hate these kind of hidden fees.

comment Claiming compensation for late service of Eurotunnel
There is still a fair chance they will offer you some compensation if you write a complaint - this is exactly what happened in our case.

And which airlines are these? I wouldn't trust any airline these days.

Sorry, I should have been more precise - I went by the car-train (Eurotunnel vs Eurostar :)

What do you think is the chance of getting tickets? And what do you mean by "go early"?

comment I am a UK state pensioner (dual citizenship) now living in Canada returning for a 3 week visit to UK - will NHS cover me?
Proof of ten years continuous residence - a bit ridiculous, especially if someone lived in the UK many years ago...

comment Do I actually need an EHIC?
To answer your comment, you are not entitled to national health service just be being a citizen of a given EU country. E.g. in the UK you need to be a resident, in other countries it is more complicated.

comment Cheap hotels with family rooms near motorways in France
@Gagravarr, from a quick search it seems that Ibis Budget also doesn't have rooms for 4 people.

comment Best transportation method in Sicily
@radouxju, a large car would only be a problem in cities, but don't get paranoid about it. After a few days you get used to the traffic, but then it takes a few days after you return home to adjust back :). On a side note, it might be cheaper to rent two small cars instead of a big one if you have two drivers - this was the case when I was there.

comment Long-life SIM cards in Europe
The problem with using a German card in Sweeden or some other EU country is that the Internet connection will be more expensive than I would like to pay.
