comment Can you leave the UK on a non-UK passport if you're eligible for one?
Does the fact that the asker says they are a British national rather than a British citizen change things at all? "don’t have the automatic right to live or work in the UK " is the item that prompts my query.

@IanRingrose true, although no more than 85mm at the stations in question.

comment Accessible travel by Tube from Heathrow to Kings Cross
@JoErNanO since the most recent upgrade, there are elevators alongside almost all stairs, and alternative routes when there aren't. I've found a nice WebGL version here

@CMaster true, but is the actual question asked on-topic?

comment How do peak/off peak times work on the TfL network with the Oyster card?
Note that the specific journey mentioned, Euston to Watford Junction, benefits from contraflow off peak pricing. As shown in the Single Fare Finder, making this journey (in this direction) in the morning counts as off peak (because you are going against the flow)

comment Most convenient ticket option for a weekend in London via Gatwick
"so if your card has a per-transaction overseas fee you'll pay that several times each day. " - no. You're only actually charged at the end of the day, although there may be multiple authorisations during the day.

comment Can I check the “in-travel” status of my Oyster card?
Even PAYG can be discounted on Oyster (but not yet CPAY) by adding various specific-group railcards. But yes, from the sound of it, this asker could achieve what they want by switching to CPAY.

comment Is an OysterCard worth it for occasional 1-day visits from outside London?
The marginal cost of the NR ODTC over the NR return into London tends to be much less than the PAYG cost of even a small amount of London travel.

comment Can I check the “in-travel” status of my Oyster card?
Slightly overstating things with that PPS. TfL's official position is that Oyster is going to be around for a long time yet, not least because of the many kinds of concessionary cards available for which no reasonable bank card replacement exists.

comment Where is Waze accurate?
The Live Map on the waze website shows all the data that is uploaded and downloaded to devices. Right now it's 0749 in San Diego and there appear to be plenty of wazers about, so I would expect the traffic conditions data to be accurate. Your experience surprises me - I too would have expected San Diego to be somewhere where waze is at its best...

comment UK Exit Checks: Are people driving via Eurotunnel/Ferry affected?
(not an answer) A ferry firm today pledged that new compulsory passport checks would not cause delays for holidaymakers leaving Portsmouth ... But Channel Tunnel company Eurotunnel has warned of border travel “coming to a standstill” in future years unless new smarter technology for the checks is introduced - lots of details there

comment Why do trucks pass each other on the highway?
@EdmundYeung99 there were two trucks in the slow lane; asker was behind the one truck in the fast lane passing them. Asker expected the overtake to complete in time to be able to drop back into the slow lane for the exit; asker's expectation was confounded.
