US Visa Waiver Program 90 day rule for US stopovers Thanks for the inputs. I wasn't sure if I can apply for a new Visa Waiver program that soon. That because I expect that they don't want someone leaving for Canada to renew their 90day stay (which I am not, of course, but they can't be sure). |

US Visa Waiver Program 90 day rule for US stopovers Thanks for your extensive answer, Mark. I appreciate it. I do not have a student visa, though. Since I am studying in Canada for less than 6 months, I am visa exempted. So my place of residence is not Canada, although I can prove it by my acceptance letter of the university. But thanks for your suggestions, I will check with the US border officers next week and make sure I hand back the I94 on Nov 19 & apply for a new visa waiver. |

US Visa Waiver Program 90 day rule for US stopovers No, I am just here as a visitor. I am visa exempted, since I am staying for less than 180 days. Sorry I forgot to mention this but I'll update the question accordingly. |
