Life is movement, so I'm always on the move. Best thing ever.

Move. :)

PS. I seldom check e-mail, so it's better to reach me by message.

comment Where can you safely store your belongings in order to travel?
(Funny, I would expect lack of space to be an omnipresent problem, and therefore to exist plenty of such solutions with different price ranges, but this Shurgard is the only one I hear something about)

Great. Do you have the breakdown of the price? Seems relevant, since the smallest storage in the Netherlands is as low as 40 euros. The lock is a one-time thing, but I wonder how much the insurance plus administration fee add to the announced prices, and judging by your number it could almost double it.

Have you or anyone here personally used Shurgard? Their smaller spaces do seem affordable, although they mention mandatory insurance and an administration fee, and the site doesn't make explicit how much they cost.

comment Statistically, is there a safest seat on the plane if it crashes?
Based on the previous statistics for fire and crash, you can produce the weighed averages of the probabilities for each section. If the weight is 1:1, the back is the best.

Corrected answer and added maths

The question for crash, which was the one technically asked, was already answered. But the 'fire confounding factor' was added above, and I take that the underlying question is 'in case of disaster'. So my answer combines both.

Thanks, Mark. Yeah, by "who" I meant regions, cities and countries, not necessarily individual employers. Expats site looks good.

Thank you MastaBaba. I saw a professional storage solution like this some time ago but left with the impression that it was a bit too expensive. I wonder if there are other, less expensive alternatives without sacrificing peace of mind.

That means that 5 suitcases would be $3,000 a year. Not trivially cheap, as a matter of fact. Good reference.

No stats, just an impression based on what I've seen, so I added a 'seem to'. Thanks.
