comment Why police didn't even block me once at the airport arrivals?
+1 The presence of the police makes the guilty ones often behave differently, especially if they're not professionals but do it because they're blackmailed, have financial troubles, were kidnapped or whatever. For the same reason, the random ticket inspectors can likely let you pass ever for your whole life, simply because they "have it in their eye" ;)

@damryfbfnetsi I have no more than zero idea what you speak about. (This smartphone stuff is getting ridiculous, after all.)

Don't bring your own iphone, you shouldn't need it there, should you? Just put your SIM into one of the new ones. This way you can at least save one device (unless you can't really spend the last day of your visit without an iPhone).

comment How much cash can you carry in a European Union domestic flight?
@Relaxed Well, maybe not misleading (that was a bit too strong, sorry for that). But without citation of reliable sources, I can't believe it, especially since the observation I made during my journeys is different..

Hi! Please, do you have sources of this statements? The rules of the Prague airport seem to be different, because even on the in-Schengen terminal, you are required to report 10k+ EUR cash possession.

This is a very misleading answer.

Similar for the Czech Republic. Remember that cheques and valuables (stocks) can also qualify as money.

comment Flying with a baby, changing diapers onboard
And: Bring in lots of diapers. Think of the number you take for a trip by car of the same length. Add one extra diaper. Add another extra diaper, just in case. Now double the figure.

comment Why can two different airlines have different travel durations for the same itinerary?
@reirab though most aircrafts go a bit further to the north since it saves some fuel. So there's no worry about that little triangle for the BOS-CDG route.

comment Travel from London to Paris or Zurich by train without a Schengen visa
Even if you found a way how to cross the Schengen boundary without a border control, it would be illegal to enter if you need a visa and you don't have it.

I wouldn't consider CZK 2 a standard tip for a full meal. I always tend to have couple small coins in my wallet for the case when the price is 98 or 108, so that I can comfortably tip e.g. to 105 or 115.
