I love solving problems and making people's day. I also enjoy mentoring and volunteer regularly on the Rails Hotline. Ruby on Rails has been my development framework of choice since 2007, but I also love working in Javascript, doing Linux sysadmin, and tinkering with things like IPv6 and GPG. I aim to regularly make meaningful contributions to the free open source software community.

As a US citizen programmer, what kinds of visas can I get to work abroad remotely for my US employer? I think you're right about having to look this up individually for different countries. Thanks for suggesting talking to those countries' embassies in the US - I hadn't thought of that. |
