comment Sufficient Identification for Intra Schengen flights
What is your citizenship, and if non-EU/EEA, your visa status?

Your source directly contradicts your opening statement. Quoting the previous sentence from the source: “If you are an EU national, you do not need to show your national ID card or passport when you are travelling from one border-free Schengen EU country to another”. A valid passport, ID card or other travel document is recommended, but any means of proving your EU citizenship to the requester's satisfaction is legally sufficient. The recommendation of official ID is because of the inherent uncertainty of the requester's satisfaction. Airlines may have their own, more restrictive conditions.

comment Hong Kong Airport – Macau – Hong Kong
@uncovery Oh? I thought it was possible to collect your luggage at the airport and then take the ferry exit. Turbojet even mentions a possibility of “baggage reclaim at Air/Sea Transfer Desk”. Do you have a reference?

comment Navigo Decouverte at Orly airport - opening time
If Orly and Versailles are as far out as you'll go, zones 1–4 are enough. Note that the weekly pass runs from Monday to Sunday, not an arbitrary 7-day period.

I think all countries require that the children have identity papers, and some require a separate authorization, but the rules for this are not uniform across Schengen. I don't know about the rules for Austria and the Czech Republic. In practice, it's likely that nobody will check, but obviously you'd want to make sure that everybody has the right papers just in case.

@Annoyed I gave an official link for Italy. I couldn't find one for France.

@Tor-EinarJarnbjo Indeed, there is no legal requirements. But airlines have their own (I think to prevent ticket resales). It's true that they don't always check, but when they do, they tend to be very strict.
