Men wearing a different pair of shoes every day? I assure you, having different pairs of shoes is as much of a female stereotype in Europe as in North America.

While RailEurope does give fares for many countries, beware that it's often cheaper to shop around and book segments separately. A lot of train companies have seat quotas for reduced rates, so this will vary depending on exactly when you book, but I'd rarely expect RailEurope to come up with the best price.

@Dirty-flow This question isn't about immigration, it's about a temporary visa.

Fashions vary. Where are you traveling? Which country? Which kind of environment (city, country, mountain, …)? That being said wherever you'll be going the locals probably have jackets from the same factory sold under a different brand.

comment Is it possible for non US citizen tourists to get married in Las Vegas?
I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, because I know a couple (both from different non-US countries) who did that. No idea about what formalities are needed or whether every country will recognize the marriage (especially if the couple were both citizens and residents of the same country, that country may want exclusivity on marrying its own citizens).

comment Is there free Wi-Fi at Quimper Cornouaille Airport?
@Gagravarr In case you can edit your entry: I'm guessing that by “mot à clé” you meant either password = mot de passe or key = clé. More idiomatic French: Demandez un mot de passe au bureau d'informations et billets Air France.

comment Why shouldn't I have an ATM PIN beginning with zero if I travel internationally?
I'm not aware of any restrictions on the leading digit. On the other hand, a lot of places only support 4-digit PINs, so you may have trouble with ATMs (and shops, if your card has a chip) if your PIN is a different length.

@JoeTaxpayer It's the relative frequency, with the digit 1 set to the frequency value 1.0. No, I don't know why the author didn't use the absolute frequency. The digit 1 comes up to an absolute frequency of about 40%, and 0 to a little over 10%.
