comment How do we plan this multi-city and multi-country trip to be least expensive?
@happybuddha For OneWorld, it'd be covered by the Circle Pacific ticket, which is one of the various "half way round the world" tickets that exist (though they tend to have special names). You don't want a RTW ticket for this thought! Needs to be one centred on just part of the world

comment Visiting Stonehenge on the way from London to Bristol
I'd have thought train London -> Salisbury, bus to/from Stonehenge, then train onwards to Bristol would be your best bet

What about a "half way round the world" ticket? (Like a round the world, but number of continents constrained to just do US/Asia/Australasia)

comment Where's the cheapest place in the world for a beginner to learn diving?
@hippietrail There's often a big difference in competence between someone who does a warm water PADI with a view to a dive master then does tens of dives in short succession to get enough for the qualification start, vs someone who does a warm water PADI then does nothing for a long time...

comment Which will be the cheapest way to go to Leh from Jaipur?
If you can get tickets, taking the train in 3rd class is likely to be one of the lowest price ways. Have you looked into that?

Quality of instruction can vary a lot too! Someone who's done a rigorous course in a colder location tends to be a much better diver early on than someone who's done their Open Water somewhere warm + relaxed...

Is there a particular qualification that you're hoping to get?

Assuming you move to a city where meetup is popular - it does seem to vary a lot around the world!

comment Theft insurance in India
Mine current travel insurance covers me equally on everything except medical cover when at home or abroad. Past ones I've had have had exclusions for domestic trips of under a certain length (IIRC minimum 2 days), but beyond that have always covered me

comment How do you drive a British car? Is it with the left hand and foot or right?
Be prepared to spend a lot of time hitting the door every time you go to change gear... Otherwise it isn't too different!

Try to clarify that it's about "Frankfurt" Hahn (aka not in Frankfurt)

comment Why do hotel booking sites ask for the number of people? Does it matter how many I say?
I'd say you risk having your reservation re-priced onto the rack rate for 3 people if they catch you, which would be a lot more...

comment Do unlimited use/season tickets for the Eurostar exist from Lille?
I left Lille last night, so it'd have to wait for another trip to ask in the station. Perhaps someone else will go there first? :)

I believe you can get a season ticket for travel by TGV, which is similar to the Eurostar, so the model isn't completely unknown
