comment Is 55 minutes enough transfer time at Schiphol
If you miss the connection, and KLM look after you until the next available flight, how much of a problem is that for you?

comment How do I get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 in Hong Kong airport? (HKG)
The furthest gates of T1 and T2 are some way apart. The entrances for passengers are about 100m apart, separated by the railway station. You can walk between them entirely indoors

comment Why do ferry checkins close so early?
Is it perhaps a terminal where they have to bus foot passengers onto the ferry, rather than letting them walk?

comment Arriving in terminal 2 going to 5 heathrow
@EdmundYeung99 I stand by what I said - almost all the shops are in all the terminals. Not every single one, and you've found some of the only examples, but for almost all the shopping someone might (sensibly) want to do in Heathrow, it can be done in all terminals. The OP hasn't mentioned something specific, so there's a fair chance they just haven't realised they could do it in T5 (which is what Heathrow normally want you to do)

Almost all the shops can be found in all the terminals, so for most things you should be fine to shop at T5.

comment How does the new landlord duty affect visitors to the UK?
@phoog There's still the additional costs on a per-tenancy basis that were mentioned, which a 6 month lease would trigger much sooner than a 1-2 year one, so would likely need recovering too in the form of higher rents

comment Is there a site where I can compare all available vacation packages from my city to all destinations?
Go and see a "bricks and mortar" travel agent near where you live, and ask them to help?

Dogs, cats, pigs, prize turkeys, turtles, snakes etc! Very good article in the New Yorker for anyone interested in what you can and can't get away with in the states, plus what the rules actually are...

comment Flying from Ibiza to Dublin on route to NYC USA
I'd suggest you look at booking two tickets - Ibiza to Dublin, then an entirely separate Dublin-USA one. You need to leave plenty of time (overnight is best), but you'll likely save a lot of money vs a London ticket as Dublin-USA flights tend to be quite a bit cheaper than London-USA ones

Note that the OP would need to go through immigration+customs if they weren't able to through-check bags, or if they had an overnight, or if they were a smoker!
