@MichaelHampton no, I've written, when you go for the sandwitch. Inside you're usually safe ;) Actually, I haven't noticed it in Germany, but in Poland, before afternoon, the police often stop random people, they have probably a kind of number of people to control on daily basis...

comment Combining Regio-Ticket Bayern with “Grossraum” tickets?
You mean: "nur für Fahrten, die außerhalb eines Verkehrsverbundes beginnen oder enden"? Should I understand it "outside any VV" or "outside this/given VV"? The text being in German makes it not easier to understand :)

comment Combining Regio-Ticket Bayern with “Grossraum” tickets?
Sorry, but I don't understand. I thought that Regio Ticket is for travelling by train between any cities in Bavaria with distance less that 50 km. But from your answer, it's not the case, when both of them are withing Verkehrsverbundes (even if within different one). So can I use them when either the target or the start is outside VV? Or only if both target and start are outside VV?

So the problem here is, that my trip will start in one Verbund (VGN) and will end in the other (RW)? Travelling from, for example, Augsburg to Ingolstadt would not be a problem?

comment Using an Amazon Kindle onboard a flight?
@Jonathan if you compare kindle to some of those dancing-with-vampires-romances-for-teenies that yes, but a typical book weights much more than a kindle. And their corners can be much harder. Probably people won't take it on board because of weight limitation, but a book is a book anyway. A solid dictionary or encyclopedia could even kill you.
