comment Roadtrip in Southeastern Europe: too much for 4 weeks?
From Europe is alright. I spoke to a company that hires motorbikes in Ireland, and a problem they have is when Americans, upon seeing Ireland is 200 miles across, think they can do the whole thing in 1 weekend.

Can I ask where you're coming from? Where is your driving experience? If it's from a new world country (USA, australia etc.), then I'd have to advise you that roads around this part of the world are pretty old and not as straight as you may be used to.

comment Using Occupy Wall Street as a travel hack - any downsides?
Ha! Ireland. The police there were caught in hidden camera joking that the'd rape a protestor at a similar event if they didn't give her name. irishtimes.com/newspaper/breaking/2011/0405/breaking12.html

comment How to use sink with separate hot/cold taps?
I think this is an appropriate question or topic for travel.se. It's something that travellers might encounter around the world, and hence advice on this would be benefitial for travellers.

comment How to plan routes that aren't covered by Google Maps?
OpenStreetMap.org doesn't do routes, but people use OSM data to write routing websites. Here's one: maps.cloudmade.com

comment Where can I go with an Irish visa but without a Schengen visa?
Yes there is no border control between Northern Ireland and Ireland. Many public intercity bosses drive through N. Ireland. You can easily go up there without any visa issues.

There are several mapping/satnav companies. TomTom is one of them, TeleAtlas (which Google Maps use) is another one.
